Actively promote the application of broadband satellite in radio and television industry

In 2017, China's first Ka-band high-throughput broadband satellite "Zhongxing 16" was successfully launched and provided commercial services. Its single-star capacity is 20Gbps, exceeding the total capacity of all previous satellites in China. It is expected to play an important role in the fields of enterprise private network, distance education and medical treatment, Internet access, radio and television news collection, airborne ship communication and emergency communication.

As an emergency backup, all county-level units set up another mobile satellite emergency broadcasting station, and all village-level units set up small satellite broadcasting stations, which can be directly controlled by the provincial broadcasting platform for emergency broadcasting under abnormal conditions.

The provincial platform is equipped with an integrated network management system, which can unify and remotely configure and manage all small satellite stations, including authorization, configuration, priority setting, comprehensive data statistics, etc.
